International award-winning vocal ensemble Voces8, has established itself as the foremost young British a cappella group performing repertoire ranging from early polyphony to unique jazz and popular arrangements. Voces8 has entertained audiences across Europe, and has been praised for its 'stunning performance', 'exquisite singing' and 'a sound that spans the entire range of vocal colour'.
In 2005 Voces8 swept the board at the 44th International Grand Prix in Gorizia, winning first prize for performances in the jazz category and the audience vote for best performance. Since then, the group has received accolades at competitions in Slovenia, Italy, and, most recently, Spain, at the European Choral Grand Prix where Voces8 picked up first prize in both the sacred and secular categories as well as scoring the highest points in the Grand Prix. Concert tours throughout Europe have provided the group with considerable support on the continent.
