About Tommy...

Dundee born Tommy McPhee began his musical career training as a church organist before switching to classical piano at music college in Glasgow. Besides playing keyboards he also sang in choirs and one early brush with stardom as a choirboy was taking the solo during a special performance for the late Queen Mother at Glamis Castle in Scotland, when he was ten years old.

As he grew up, Tommy re-located south of the border and expanded his repertoire of skills, studying acting, music and dance at Brian Rogers' celebrated Performance Arts School, taking name parts in performances of Oliver and The Sound of Music, and even competing in the 1989 World Champion Ballroom Dance Competition.

His passion for musical theatre met his enduring love for the classic 1950's and 60's pop pianists his parents had introduced him to, when he took part in touring shows of the contemporary musicals Grease and The Rocky Horror Show; further adding to the skills he would put to good use when he began his career onboard cruise ships in the late 1990's.

Starting as a singer and dancer in ship productions, he graduated to solo performer, working as a cocktail pianist and piano/vocalist entertainer for a variety of cruise lines honing his talents until he was ready to hit the big stage as a headliner.

Tommy McPhee now presents his all-new singing and dancing headline show, featuring the songs of his idols, from Neil Sedaka to Barry Manilow and all points in-between, showcasing his fabulous singing and piano playing for your pleasure.
