SINGERS

DUNCAN GALLOWAY

London born, Duncan Galloway began his career, like all the best classical entertainers, by singing and acting. After leaving Drama School he won world wide recognition and acclaim as lead singer with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, specialising in Dance Music of the 20īs and 30īs.

After six years he left the Pasadena Roof Orchestra to concentrate more on theatre and sang as guest singer with several different Big-Bands. During this time he developed his love of Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and music of the 30īs, 40īs and 50īs, and created his own show.

As well as possessing his own charm and flair he has been likened to Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. The American Press wrote of him: "He possesses a rich velvety baritone modelled unashamedly on Bing Crosby, especially as he crooned 'Just one more chance'. He is simply great".

In 2001 he was voted "Entertainer of the Year" in Germany, and founded the group: Duncan Galloway and The London Hot Rhythm Boys and in 2002 had been invited back to sing as front man with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra.
