SIMON DAVIES studied at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music before receiving his Honours Degree at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.

As a soloist, Simon has won numerous competitions and represented the UK in the European Young Musicians' Concert. He is a featured artist on the Classical Recital Series aboard Cunard cruise liners such as the Queen Mary 2.

Simon was one half of The Arada Guitar Duo, and their second release for Landor Records, Mediterranean received glowing reviews from publications such as International Record Review and Gramophone magazine. The duo has also performed on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM and in some of the country's finest chamber music venues.

With the Royal Shakespeare Company 'band', Simon performed in the West End run of Romeo and Juliet and the critically acclaimed Venus & Adonis, a setting of the Bard's sonnet by Gregory Doran.

Simon was co-writer with London-based, electro-pop band, NEMO, hailed by NME magazine as the "saviours of pop". The band toured extensively and recorded with some of the country's leading producers: Charlie Francis (R.E.M), Dan Frampton (Sugarbabes), Chris Corner (Sneaker Pimps), Jim Abbiss (Kasabian).
