Rosemary Ashe trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the London Opera Centre.

She recently appeared as Mrs. Fraser in STEPPING OUT at Derby Playhouse and as the Begger Woman in SWEENEY TODD at The Royal Festival Hall with Bryn Terfel. In 2007 she played Ruth in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE for the Carl Rosa Opera Company on a national tour of America and Canada.

Other work includes:

'Fairy Godmother' in CINDERELLA with Julian Clary at the Birmingham Hippodrome 'Madame Thenardier' in LES MISERABLES at the Palace Theatre (twice) 'Felicia Gabriel' in THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK at the Prince Of Wales Theatre and the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical.

She was later to reprise that role at The Princess Theatre, Melbourne.
