About Robyn...

Robyn received a Theatregoers Choice Award nomination for Best Takeover in a Role, for her portrayal of Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. Her long association with the show began for her at the age of 19 when she understudied the role. She later took over as Alternate Christine, and in 2007 she finally returned to the show to take over the role in her own right. She completed her run in Phantom in September 2009. She went on to be part of the company for the 25th Anniversary production at the Albert Hall in October 2011, to be broadcast to cinemas and released on DVD

Robyn has recently appeared in the film of Les Misérables directed by Tom Hooper for Working Title Films, playing alongside Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen. This followed her most recent appearance on a London stage, starring as Nellie Collins in Floyd Collins at the Southwark Playhouse, directed by Derek Bond. She also appeared as Kate in an episode of Hustle on BBC1 in February 2012.

Robyn trained at the Sandy Gray School of Dancing, and the London Studio Centre on full scholarship. Her other theatre credits include Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie (first national tour) in which she also understudied the title role of Millie, opposite Lesley Joseph and the national tour of Scrooge in the lead role of Isabel/Helen opposite Shane Richie for Bill Kenwright Ltd.

More recently she appeared as part of the original cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s revival of Evita directed by Michael Grandage (Adelphi), appearing on the original cast recording. At the same time as continuing in Phantom, she appeared in concert in Gotta Sing Gotta Dance for Chris Jordan Productions, The Best of the West-End for West End International and played Stacy in Rebels & Retails at the Trafalgar Studios as part of the Perfect Pitch season. Robyn recorded her debut album Make Believe at Abbey Road Studios, which is out now on Jay Records and on iTunes.
