SIMON CASCIANO

At the age of only 26, Simon Casciano has already enjoyed a fabulous four-year career playing and singing on the cruise ships of Crystal and Holland America and Hilton Hotels. Born of an English mother and Italian father, he spent the first five years of his life growing up in Sicily before moving to England. His grandfather, who lived with them, was an established pianist and the first to introduce Simon to the piano, showing him the basics with patience and gentle encouragement.

Though enjoying a variety of interests throughout his teens, Simon kept his piano playing close to his heart. By 21, Simon had a distinction in grade 8 classical piano and a Bachelors degree in music from Southampton University. He then continued to expand his playing to include jazz and pop. Simon reads music as fluently as he can improvise.

Naturally inquisitive, Simon loves to travel; he speaks Spanish and Italian, and loves to learn about other countries and their cultures and has found working aboard cruise ships a perfect way to blend business with pleasure.
