RICHIE SWAN

I am a self contained single act, with vocals, piano/keyboards and guitar, and can adapt to any situation given, such as entertaining or just playing background, can use sequences or play just piano alone.

My first local experience came in Rock Bands in Miami. After leaving the Rock scene, I got exposure in show bands with ' The Juboloh Show Band' in Miami. I also worked with Ray Marco The Mike Quint Show and The Ronnie Davis Show, along with a Single Act and many local trios and quartets. I have played in many of the finer Nightclubs and Hotels in South Florida, Pittsburgh Pa and Guayaquil Ecuador. In 1963-64 in Channel 4 TV in Guayaquil Ecuador In 1965-67 The Impacts & The Characters Channel 23 TV Spanish station, & Channel 2 PBS Miami Fla, With the Stuck Zipper opening acts for Steve Miller Band, Grand Funk Railroad, Chamber Brothers & The Young Rascals, all these events took place at Pirates World in Dania Florida, also recorded with singer turned producer Steve Alaimo. 1979-85 Chubby Checkers, Ben E King, The Platters, Eddie Fisher, Nelson Ned 1980- Clubs in Hallandale like Booties, Charley Brown's and Valentinos, at these places concurred many celebrities after their shows in the Diplomat Hotel since these clubs were nearby, I had the pleasure to see or meet in person, Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Charlie Callas, Don Wrinkles, Etc Lemont Restaurant in Pittsburgh Pa. Stevie Windwood and some of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates & Penguins, At the Shiloh In I met the hockey player Lemeiux. With Heatwave (Fla 90,s)Rodney Dangerfield, Chriss Everrett, Roy Schnider, Olivia Newton John and others. Richie's repertoire ranges from many of the old standards to the contemporary top 10 Rock tunes, Blues, Jazz Latin, Sing along. He sings in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and French. Plays Piano, Keyboards, Guitar and Percussion.
