Martin has been playing piano for most of his life. Starting at the age of 5, he learned to play by ear, and then went on to study classical music at school.
After leaving school, he studied at Wigan and Leigh College where he studied more contemporary music,
developing his interest in Jazz and Show music and gaining a diploma in Performance Arts as well as teaching piano from home and in the college.
After leaving College, he moved to Alicante, Spain, where he still resides.For the
past 9 years Martin has worked on luxury cruise lines around the world playing and singing to audiences of all types.
Martin spent most of his time at sea working for Cunard on the Sea Goddess 1 and 2, QE2 and Caronia, but has more recently worked for P&O and Crystal cruises.
