JODY WADE

Jody Wade comes all the way from Louisville Kentucky USA. He started taking piano lessons at 6 years old and began studying improvisation at Bizaines Music in Louisville, after hearing John Bizaines play boogie woogie and jazz.  He eventually taught jazz and played and sang professionally full time for over 4 years in the US, before he moved to London.  Coming from one of the southern States, he's the real deal, bringing a truly American country twang and bluesiness to his singing and playing.  He incorporates a diverse group of influences and a whole range of styles including stride, bebop, traditional, blues, boogie woogie and contemporary piano artistes

Likewise, amongst his  wide ranging repertoire you can expect to hear classics from the like of  Elton John, Robbie Williams, Bill Withers, Billy Joel, Elvis, The Beatles, Cole Porter, Gershwin, and more.  He's sure to add a warm feeling and energy to the room  with his soulful, fresh music and easygoing personality.
