DEREK LYNDEN
Derek left home in Dublin at 17 after years of studying at The Irish Academy of Music and joined a local Show Band. After serving his apprenticeship he played his way around Europe before arriving in London.
His Middle Eastern Tour with Samantha Fox led to a case of wandering feet,
and Derek took a trip to the Far East, playing in such places as Harry's Bar in Singapore and The Vault in Sydney. He
then joined the QE2 to return to London.
Derek is a talented songwriter and session musician and has also worked with la crème de la crème of Nashville - whilst in Dallas he played for some time in the 7* Mansion on Turtle Creek. Upon leaving America he headed to Dubai to play in a top class nightclub.
