Chris Hamilton

Chris Hamilton began playing the piano at the age of four. He was classically trained on the piano and at the age of fifteen he was awarded a Performer's Diploma (LTCL).

Chris has performed in cabaret all over the world from Bangkok to Tel Aviv and was flown to Melbourne, Australia, to perform at a private party. In London, he has performed solo shows at Jermyn Street Theatre, the Theatre Museum, Lauderdale House and The Actor's Church, Covent Garden. He has won praise from all the major newspapers, the Telegraph describing him as an "ace pianist". Chris has also performed at venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, London, St David's Hall, Cardiff, Blenheim Palace and the House of Commons.

Chris made his New York debut in 2007 at Don't Tell Mama, where critics described him as "the real deal" and "a total showman". Cabaret and theatre veteran Julie Wilson described Chris as a "triple threat" while New York cabaret legend called him "wizard on the keys". Chris also performs as headliner on all the luxury cruise liners.

Chris is a keen composer and his first musical, Over The Threshold, for which he wrote the music, lyric and book, was staged in London in 2006. Songs from his musical have been performed in London and the US and most recently at an awards ceremony in London before a prestigious audience including Andrew Lloyd Webber. He is taking his musical up to the Edinburgh Festival this year.

Chris is gaining fans worldwide who appreciate his prodigious musical gifts and his sophisticated performing style.
