HAMISH JACKSON 
Grandson of the famed trumpeter, bandleader and BBC
Radio DJ, Jack Jackson, Hamish has been surrounded by music since as
early as he can remember. Coming from a long line of boogie woogie and stride pianists has ensured that music has always been in his blood and that he plays with great feeling and sensitivity, being both extremely competent and reliable.
Hamish has many influences such as Fats Waller, Burt
Bacharach, Gershwin, Stevie Wonder and Dizzy Gillespie, all of whose
musicality can be heard in his playing. He is also able to play a wide
range of styles including Ragtime, Stride, Classical, Boogie & Blues,
Country, Motown, Pop, Soul Ballads and Funk to name a few so that Hamish
can play music to suit any occasion.
He has entertained audiences all over the world at venues including:
