About Pete...

From relatively humble beginnings growing up in the east of London, England, music has enabled Pete to travel and perform extensively in concert halls, clubs and festivals throughout Europe, America, Australia and the Far East. He has entertained on most of the worlds finest luxury cruise lines.

Although a classically trained musician, he now performs mainly in small group, jazz influenced settings which give him the freedom to demonstrate his considerable command of his chosen instrument - the clarinet. He has a particular passion for the music and entertainers of the 'swing era'.

He is constantly in demand in a variety of settings and has performed at functions for the British Royal Family, including private parties for His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales as well as at house parties for Michael Caine and Mick Jagger. He is repeatedly in attendance at many high profile show business and aristocratic weddings and balls.

Widely respected throughout the international jazz scene, he has performed both with his own band and as a guest artiste in jazz clubs in London, Paris, New York, New Orleans, Zurich, Munich, Rome, Singapore and Sydney. He is still much in demand in the corporate entertainment sphere and frequently travels world wide for product launches, parties and cabaret spots, and, in this idiom has performed at such diverse locations as the Cannes Film Festival, aboard the 'Orient Express' at the House of Lords in London and the Palace of Versailles. More 'conventional' venues include London's Royal Festival Hall & the Royal Albert Hall, the Lincoln Centre in New York as well as theatres throughout Europe and the US.

Pete was both honoured and flattered to be invited to perform at one of the official Inaugural Balls for President Barack Obama on the evening of January 20th 2009.

Pete has extensive experience in television, radio and studio/session work both in his native United Kingdom and overseas; both on clarinet as well as saxophone. He is deeply committed to music education and has given master classes and led jazz workshops on numerous occasions.

He has appeared on many recordings over the years accompanying various other singers and instrumentalists; there are currently two albums available under Pete's own name; "Friends and Neighbour" and "It's Alright With Me". Both have been received to great critical acclaim and are available directly from Pete, through his website - peteneighbour.com - or through amazon or CDBaby.

You are welcome to follow Pete and his travels via his website, through 'Twitter' or 'Facebook'.

He now makes divides his time between his home in South Carolina in the USA and London - when not traveling!
