Pete's interest in the sax began with his early exposure to jazz and soul music. This encouraged Pete to study music formally which he has done at many places throughout the UK.

About Pete...

Pete's interest in the sax began with his early exposure to jazz and soul music. This encouraged Pete to study music formally which he has done at many places throughout the UK. This includes a BTEC National Diploma at Kidderminster College, a Higher National Diploma in Contemporary Music at Dartington College of Arts, and a BA Hons Degree in Jazz studies at Middlesex University.

Pete is currently involved in many eclectic projects including playing with blues man Zoot Money, being a member of a Will Buttleworth jazz trio, working as an arranger and player in 'Rebelation', a dub/reggae group and working as a leader of his own jazz trio. Pete has toured extensively throughout Europe including gigs in Strasbourg, Luxembourg, Lille, Bern and Barcelona.

He has recently released an album working with the contemporary band ‘Ledbib’ with whom he can be heard performing at some of London’s top Jazz venues such as The Vortex, The Spitz, The Oxford, 291 Gallery, The Klinker Club and Turnmills.
