At just 28, Paul has 11 years experience as a performer which showed when he appeared in the 1999 'Royal Variety Show' in the presence of HM the Queen.

He was the first outright winner, by over 100,000 votes, of the 'Big Big Talent Show' hosted by Jonathan Ross on LWT. He made his TV debut as a magician on B.B.C's 'Tricky Business'. However, within 6 months he appeared as a ventriloquist on Hanger 17 and shortly after that landed a two year contract presenting the GMTV kids programme 'Rise and Shine'.

With his irresistable characters Sam, Albert and the Baby, Paul has appeared on numerous TV shows and commercials including:

  • Disney Club
  • Live and Kicking
  • The Big Breakfast
  • Shirley Bassey's 60th Birthday Special
  • Kellogg's commercial
  • Persil's commercial

  • He was also involved as a pupeteer in the film 'Muppet Treasure Island' for the infamous Jim Henson Company and is very much in demand on cruise ships all over the world, with frequent performances on P&O's Orianna, Viking Line and Royal Carribean.

    He has performed in pantomimes for eight consecutive years and has also been support to artists such as Norman Wisdom, Ronie Corbett, Smith and Jones, Roy Hudd and David Essex.

    In May 1997, Paul was chosen to appear on 'The Royal Gala' in the prsence of HRH The Prince Of Wales, recorded by Carlton Television at the Opera House, Manchester for the ITV network. Since this, he has sold out his own show 'Paul Zerdin - No Kids' at last years Edinburgh Comedy Festival, apperaed regularly on shows such as LWT's 'The Big Stage', 'Tonight At The London Palladium' with Bruce Forsyth, B.B.C1's 'Generation Game', Carlton's 'Stand Up For The Homeless' and B.B.C's 'The Stand Up Show'.
