About Olly...

Olly Muxworthy is a conservatoire-trained pianist, singer and composer whose talent and skill has made him one of the most sought-after musicians on the scene in the past year.

Although originally a classically trained pianist, he specialises in playing and singing repertoire from the American Songbook and jazz standards from the 20th Century, along with an extensive range of popular songs. His voice has been described as a cross between those of Harry Connick Jr. and Nat King Cole, and his style is influenced by jazz singers including Cole, Frank Sinatra and Johnny Hartman.

Since 2016, he has been a resident musician at the Savoy's American Bar and Simpsons-in-the-Strand, as well as the Royal Automobile Club in Epsom.

When not playing, Olly also works as a composer and arranger, and has written for orchestras, string ensembles, brass bands and many smaller ensembles and soloists. In 2017 he made his Welsh Proms premiere with a piece performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
