About Michael...
Michael Bacala is undoubtedly one of the most creative and talented violin entertainers of his generation. He began studying the violin at the age of 9. He graduated from the school in 1994 receiving a diploma with distinction. That was followed by a tertiary education at the Henryk Wieniawski High Music School and Academy of Music in Lodz, Poland, graduating in 2004 and further Hohschule fur Music und Theater in Rostock, Germany.
Michael performed in musical theatres in Dusseldorf, Germany and the musical capital of the world, Vienna, Austria. He was chosen to play for Pope John Paul II on the 25 anniversary of His pontificate in 2003 at a concert that was broadcasted around the world. In 2004 Michael also performed at a concert in Brussels commemorating Poland joining the European Union.
Since 2010 Michael is a regular headliner for the World's Largest Cruise Lines (Princess Cruises, Cunard Line Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Crystal Cruises, The Yachts of Seabourn, Azamara Cruises, Silversea Cruises, Saga Cruises, Holland America Line and Fred Olsen Cruises).
His shows are enjoyed all around the globe: 52 different ships to 100 countries...so far!
Michael has won the hearts of audiences with his elegant, heartfelt performances, welcoming high-energy personality and great sense of humour.
As Michael performs in many other foreign countries, in Japan for his audiences he speaks in their own language, an additional talent that further ingratiates Michael to his huge international following.
