Greek-born Maria-Christina, classical and jazz harpist currently resident in London.

Maria-Christina finished her studies at the "Athenaeum" conservatory and gained her harp diploma. Then she was offered an entrance scholarship for the postgraduate diploma in harp performance at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) and gained her LRAM diploma with distinction. She has attended several harp masterclasses in Athens, London, Paris and Geneva with professors Isabelle Moretti, Isabelle Perrin, Emmanuel Ceysson and Ivan Ion Roncea.

She now gives lessons in piano, harp and music theory to pupils of all ages. She has played in many orchestras such as the "National Orchestra of Greece", "Youth Symphony Orchestra of Athens"( A.S.O.N),"Symphony Orchestra of Crete", "Feminarte"(chamber music orchestra),"Orchestra of Athens municipality", "Trinity Orchestra of London" and also cooperated with the chamber music quartet of the National Orchestra of Athens.

She has also also played chamber music with combinations of flute, violin, double bass, cello, electric guitar, clarinet, harp ensemble and piano; composed and performed with professional dance groups during the Athens dance festival which took place in Megaron Mousikis in Athens and again cooperated with more contemporary dance groups in London which performed at the theatre of London contemporary school of dance (The Place).

Maria-Christina has been resident harpist at many hotels in Athens such as Hilton, Lydra Marriot, Lagonissi Grand Resort, Grande Bretania and Sofitel in London. She was the harpist at the catwalk show of the 2007 Swarovski collection.
