John Page Houghton is a seasoned professional of the event and party circuit with over 19 years of experience. He has played at many of London's A list venues including Grosvenor House Hotel, Hilton Park Lane, Claridges, The Savoy, Royal Albert Hall, Old Billingsgate, Tower Bridge and Windsor Castle. He has also played at Marquee sites such as the HAC, Kew and Chelsea Gardens.
The diverse range of events he has played for include award ceremonies, society weddings, corporate and private parties, film premieres and charity events. John has worked internationally in Capetown, Florida, Barcelona and Athens.
John's ability to read a crowd, adapt and play accordingly, always lifts an audience and creates a great atmosphere. As with all our Mobile Music Company DJ's John carries a vast range of music. His personal preference leans towards the chart, Hed Kandi and classic dance but will of course play whatever works best in creating the clients desired atmosphere.
For the last five years John has also honed his skills as a VJ (a mix of promotional DVD music and graphics). This asset is particularly relevant for award ceremonies or indeed any event that has large screen presentation. On a personal level John is amiable and eager to please, a real team player and a consummate professional on site.
