Jan Lesley Award winning Female Vocalist Performer.

Born in Sheffield South Yorkshire, Started her professional career at the age of 18 as a Dance Band Singer. Entered a BBC TV new talent show and went on to promote her solo career winning numerous awards year after year for Best female vocalist on the Northern club circuit.

Recognition of this brought offers of Television and Radio appearances and many bookings in Top theatre venues and cruise trips giving her wider appeal.

Was invited in 1990 to make a special appearance in Los Angeles aboard the Queen Mary Cruise Liner along side the Legendary Howard Keel for the Battle of Britain 50th Anniversary Salute, guests included Sir John Mills and James Stewart and many more stars.

Jan took a break to bring up her 2 sons for a while and then continued on, proving to be popular with her voice developing richer and stronger. Singing Broadway hits and popular classics like McCarthur Park with stength and passion. Then taking to the stage in a new way appearing as Dolly Levi lead role in Hit Musical Hello Dolly, and Reno Sweeney lead in Anything Goes and many more.

Her genuine warm personality and passionate delivery show thro everytime in her performances be it Broadway hits, popular classics or recent successes in top jazz venues west end and around the Country.

Jan took the Caribbean by storm and also made appearances in the States for a couple of years then returned to be near my family, moved to Ireland where she has found a new and enthusiastic audience who have fallen in love with her, requesting her appearance at the Cork Jazz festival for the last 2 years, also a regular performance with Waterfords Big Band Opus Pocus. The story goes on....
