James has an incredibly full sound for a solo artist. Playing a custom made Paradise Guitar with and extended range allows him to play both guitar and bass parts at the same time. Everything he plays is live. James does not use tracks and his sound is very acoustic and natural, creating the perfect backdrop for his warm and powerful butterscotch vocal tone.
Born in Canada, James currently resides in Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario and holds dual British and Canadian citizenship. Having lived and worked in Germany for seven years, he is also fluent in German.
James has worked in Canada and throughout Europe extensively, and has been performing worldwide from within the cruise ship industry in recent years. He is an extremely versatile vocalist/guitarist, able to cover many styles from Pop to R&B, Rock and Jazz. James offers a captivating selection of cover material in a variety of styles, and also performs from his collection of inspired original instrumental compositions.
