In a recent review the Frankfurter Allgemeine wrote - "With the multifaceted creativity of the pianist Helen Leek, Clara Schumann herself would have been proud."

Helen studied at the Royal Academy of Music where she won many prizes including two scholarships for post-graduate study. After leaving the Academy she was awarded an Austrian Government Scholarship to attend master classes with Alexander Satz in Vienna. As a soloist she has recently performed concertos by Mozart and Ravel and was for several years an active performer on the ‘Live Music Now’ concert scheme.

She has been the recipient of many awards including the Royal Over-Seas League JBR Trophy and the prize for chamber music at the International Young Concert Artists Competition. She was silver medal winner in the Brant International Piano Competition.

Helen has played throughout England, Europe and Scandinavia and has recorded in England, Germany and Japan. She is artistic director of the European Chamber Ensemble which has performed with great critical success throughout Scandinavia, Germany and England.

Helen has performed classical recitals many times on the Fred Olsen cruise lines and also aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth II.
