About Francisco...

Francisco Yglesia is the world's most renowned virtuoso of the Paraguayan Harp. He turned professional aged 8, one year after switching from guitar to the harp.

By 1966, aged just sixteen, he was nationally famous, winning international awards for his country. Francisco then left Paraguay to tour the world with the Paraguayan group 'Los del Tauro', and later as a member of the legendary 'Los Paraguayos'. This led to primetime appearances on British TV, and several concerts at the Royal Albert Hall for the Royal Command Performance. In the 1980's Francisco went solo.

Today, Francisco's performances on YouTube receive universal praise, and tens of thousands of hits.

His latest album, 2009's' 'THIS IS FRANCISCO YGLESIA' is available on iTunes, and of course Francisco still gives live performances, to the delight of audiences across the globe.
