About Francis...

Francis is a performer with a difference. He has the ability to arrange his style of playing to reproduce the sounds of well-known pianists and artists, while retaining his own style.

From Ballykelly, Limavady, now living in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, this entertainer has been playing the piano and piano/keyboards from an early age, extending his vocal repertoire.

Having turned professional, Francis decided to gain as much experience as possible and has travelled extensively throughout Britain with some of Ireland's leading showbands before embarking on a solo career.

Appearances in Ireland have made him an established and polished entertainer, having appeared on Gay Byrne's Late Late Show, the Kelly programme and many more.

In England, he appeared on Bob Says Opportunity Knocks, in fact he had such a tremendous reaction, that he immediately recorded the Black and White Rag (Pot Black). He then went on to appear on Michael Barrymore's Saturday Night Out, which consequently landed him with two summer seasons with Barrymore in Torquay and Bouremouth with many more established artists such as Lulu, Jim Davidson and Little and Large.

After performing on major cruise lines, he then went on to entertain for well known celebrities and guests from all over the world at the world famous Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, where he fulfilled his contract and collaborated with the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra on an album.

Presently, he has just released his Fingersdance Piano, a CD collection of his own personnel Trad arrangements and variations from Irish to Gershwin, Film, T.V., Musicals, Rag Time, etc.

His latest work is evidence of the polished performance provided by Francis.
