Ed is a fine Pianist/Vocalist and a Prestige Records Artist with his Bands The Blue Note Quartet, Hi-Life Funk Express, and the Volta Rhythms with 4 vinyl and 4 CD Albums released on SB, Pleasure, Musicinterface and Prestige Records.
Ed started his Pianist/Vocalist career right in the deep end playing at the St James Club many years ago with his regular evening audience made up of the best Actors and Artists from the UK film and recording industry like Sir John Mills, Shirley Bassey, Joan Collins, and Tom Jones to mention just a few to the best in Hollywood like Robert Wagner, Stephanie Powers Richard Pryor and Stephen Spielberg to mention just a few.
Ed went on to play at the Dorchester, Lanesborough Mandarin Oriental, Waldorf, Crowne Plaza London, St James Mayfair Hilton at Windows, Le Meridien Picadilly, and the Inter-Continental Hotel Mayfair to mention just a few in London. Ed Bentley also played abroad at places like the Penta Hotel in Heidelberg, La Mamounia and Royal Mansour in Morocco, The Gulf in Bahrain, Le Meridien Patio Bar in Paris, and the Hotel Splendid and American Bar in Zurich Switzerland to mention just a few. Recent additions have been the Casino in Cannes for the Film Festivals and the Jumeirah Carlton Tower private functions for the Dubai Promotions.
Ed has also been the choice of the Royal Family in the UK and Spain with private functions for the late Queen Mother The late Princess Margaret, Princess Diana at their home in Althorpe, Prince Charles. Prince Harry at his favorite Club in London and members of the Spanish Royal Family.
