Born in Govan, Glasgow - grew up in Romford, Essex - spent 30 years in Australia where he was married and brought up three wonderful children before running away to sea in the year 2000.

Played guitar, bass and keyboards in bands from the age of 16. Learned to play the piano 'properly' at the age of 40 and have never looked back. Have played alongside Chuck Berry, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Seekers, The Drifters and Lonnie Donegan. Have also starred as Elton John and Jerry Lee Lewis in tribute bands.

In the last 9 years have worked extensively on the following ships:

  • To compose another Symphony. To continue entertaining people on land and sea for at least another 20 years.
