About Dan Delgado...

Born and raised in Southern California, Dan started playing the trumpet at age 10 and has been lucky enough to perform all over the world. 36 countries, many of the States and looking forward to many more. Dan has also performed at major concert venues such as The Walt Disney Concert Hall, Orange County Performing Arts Center and the Famous Carnegie Hall. Also, a frequenter to other music venues such as House Of Blues, The Troubadour, Billboard Live Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. Dan has also worked at Disneyland in Anaheim, California as a trumpeter.

Dan spends a good majority of his time on board cruise ships as a Headliner. His shows pay tribute to players such as Herb Alpert, Chuck Mangione, Maynard Ferguson, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker and Miles Davis as well as including songs like Sing Sing Sing, Oh Marie, Just A Gigolo and The Monkey Song from one of his favourite artistes Louie Prima.

While Dan is not on ships he works as a trumpet player/sideman for such bands as Los Stellarians, Los Angeles Swing Barons, Crowd Theory, Paul McDonald Big Band, Better Chemistry, Top Shelf Brass Band, Sonora Karnava & The Killer Horns. With the ability to sight read and improvise, Dan is always looking to get into the next scene and experiment with new musicians and new music.
