WARREN MAILLEY-SMITH
Following success as a postgraduate major prize-winner at both Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal College of Music, Warren continued his studies privately with Ronald Smith. His debut recitals at Birmingham Symphony Hall and St John's, Smith Square were received with critical acclaim and he has been invited to perform for His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales over 30 times. His reputation as one of the country's leading young solo pianists continues to grow, with over 50 solo recitals over the 2004-05 season at festivals, music societies, universities and in many of the country's leading concert venues. During this period he also performed a number of concerti with the London Concertante, the London Strings, the London Kensington Sinfonia and the London Charity Orchestra. Warren has also been a musician on the 'Live Music Now!' scheme and has performed in the USA, Russia, Australia, numerous European countries and was invited to represent the UK at the Beijing International Piano Festival. |
