Having graduated at the Royal Northern College of music in 1996, Maria King continued her post-graduate piano studies at the RNCN sponsored by the Countess of Munster musical trust.

Apart from her concert schedule, Maria has worked extemsively as an accompanist, and in this capacity, works part time as a member of staff at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Maria's passion for presenting has led her to entertaining passengers with classical solo and duo recitals on both P&O and Saga Cruise Lines around the world, which she thoroughly enjoys.
