Bartosz Barasinski

Bartosz Barasinski started having piano lessons at the age of 7 and soon distinguished himself as a musician of rare talent. He entered the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in 1999. Since 2002 he has consulted Sulamita Aronovsky privately, and was accepted to study with her at the Royal Academy of Music in London

Bartosz has performed with great success in his native Poland and also in Germany and Italy both as soloist and chamber musician. He was the 1st prize winner in several regional competitions in Poland and has made numerous television appearances and radio broadcasts as well as a CD recording in Germany.

In 2004 Bartosz was a semi-finalist in the Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona. His recent performances at St. Martin-in-the Fields (with London Soloists Chamber Orchestra and solo) and several music societies in the UK were enthusiastically received. Followed by an outstanding performance of Chopin Concerto No. 1 at St. Jude-on-the-Hill with Helios Chamber Orchestra.

In 2005, Bartosz was a semi-finalist in the Emmanuel Durlet International Piano Competition, Belgium. And in May 2008 he was a semi-finalist in the S. Thalberg International Piano Competition in Italy.

Future plans include performances in the UK, Italy, Ireland and Poland.
