ANTHEA MATHER

Anthea Mather

Born in 1979, Anthea Mather is one of the world's leading young Harpists of today. Starting from an early age she has had a vast experience in concert playing and education including studying under Rachel Masters and Hugh Webb and playing at the Royal Albert Hall as leading Harpist. She has been under the baton of Lorin Maazel and Sir David Wilcocks and played at HRH Prince Charles' fiftieth birthday party at Buckingham palace at which Her Majesty the Queen was present. Anthea has also gained many awards including BBC's young musician of the year in 1996 and 1998 as well as gaining a scholarship into the Royal College Of Music.

Anthea can play background music at weddings and functions of various kinds with a vast repertoire and musical knowledge.
