About Chanel...
Chanel was born and raised in the city of Amsterdam in Holland. Together with three older brothers she grew up in a music-lovin' family.
When she was 21, she gained eagerness to get out there, and came in contact with Pieter Straatman, a music producer from Amsterdam. She signed a contract for an album at Tibia Pop/Rhythmic Skeleton Music. Together with Straatman, Chanel experienced something she had never done before.
The music was really lifting her qualities and Straatman seemed to have found the right touch for Chanel's music.
The first clip 'In Control', produced by Straatman, came out nicely. The script from Mark van Welzenis was very filmish, and gave Chanel the opportunity to show herself in a nice debut-clip, featuring Chanel singing, dancing, acting and lookin' good. It all seemed to be in the right place for Chanel.

"She really feels like an artist, the only thing we have to do is find her an audience", says Straatman. "With the release of the album, the clip and lots of other actions, we should be able to find this audience and let Chanel be herself ... 'One of a kind' ".
