Peter Mehtab won The Magic Circle's prestigious award for the Top Close up Magician - A just reward for Peter's sheer dedication towards his profession. Peter Mehtab won yet another prestigious award held at the worlds most exclusive club The Magic Circle and became the Top Table Magician. Peter's inimitable style has now enabled him to merge into the world of Society balls and private dinner parties. His full diary makes him the envy of fellow magicians and he has a long and varied list of venues to his credit including The Hilton, The Ritz, The Grosvenor, Park Lane, The Mayfair, The International, The Dorchester, The Hurlingham Club, Hatfield House, Ripley Castle and The famous Orient Express. Peter Mehtab was booked by Mr Richard Branson to perform for some of his top clients in the United States of America. Peter was also chosen to perform for Sting and Trudie Styler at the 'Show Business wedding of the year'. Early this year Peter was booked to perform in Lausanne, Switzerland for a private party; he has been rebooked to perform later this year. Peter was the selected wizard to perform at the recent Harry Potter film Premiere. Central Television approached Peter to produce a programme about his unique style and performance. The Programme 'Take 15' was recently shown on National Television, shot on board the famous Orient Express Train. Peter Mehtab was booked to entertain at HRH Prince Charles 50th Birthday Celebration and as also performed at two other Royal functions. Peter also performed at the Private Golden Jubilee celebrations held at the Ritz Hotel for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Peter Mehtab has recently been promoted within the Magic Circle to Full Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star; this is the highest level within the Magic Circle. Peter Mehtab was chosen especially to appear in the latest James Bond movie 'The World is not Enough' where he appears in a scene with Pierce Brosnan, Robbie Coltrane & Sophie Marceau. Peter was also booked recently to perform at the Jane Seymour MBE party and has also performed privately for actor Tom Cruise. Peter is booked for many business conventions, product launches and corporate entertainment; recent clients include Barclaycard, The Bank of England and B M W; He has recently made an entree into filming, performing a range of tricks for 'in house' training videos.
