EARL GREY
Earl Grey has achieved success chiefly through his remarkable
impressions and 45 minute cabaret act featuring such TV celebrities as
Cilla Black, Mystic Meg and Mrs Merton, assorted soap stars from Coronation
Street and Eastenders, a much in demand Dame Edna Everage and H.M. The
Queen alongside singers Dusty Springfield, Eartha Kitt and Diana Ross
and screen idols from the glory days of Hollywood such as Judy Garland,
Bette Davis, Katherine Hepburn, Vivien Leigh and Carol Channing.
Earl trained as an actor and created the role of Sylvia
in Cameron Mackintoshs Moby Dick, a year later he stopped
the show in the London production of Whoop Dee Doo. He has
appeared in the Royal Shakespeare Companys A Patriot for Me
and the Screen Two film Brazen Hussies (playing Her Majesty).
In 1997 he attracted considerable attention playing Emory in The
Boys in the Band at The Aldwych Theatre.
Earl has many pantomimes to his credit, together with
commercials, promos and numerous TV credits.
