Behzad & Paola combined their talents to form the self-titled 'Behzad & Paola duo' earlier this year and they are currently resident performers every Friday night at San Carlo Resturant in Highgate, London as well as numerous corporate and private events to great acclaim.

About Behzad & Paola...

Behzad Aghabeigi born in Tehran, found his passion for playing classical and Flamenco guitars at the age of thirteen. He obtained a B.A. degree in Economic Science and decided to move to London in 1990 to continue his studies. After his graduation, he decided to devote all his time towards performance and production of music. His first two releases, Gypsy Renaissance and Strings of Desire, had a great success in the heavy battled U.S. market. In his latest release, Luna y Sol, Behzad offers a captivating collection of inspired original instrumental compositions. Performances with groups around the world such as Fantasia or Futuro Flamenco gave him the opportunity of showing his talent abroad.

Ana Paola, born in Buenos Aires, studied music conducting and composition at the University of La Plata, where she got her Master degree. She performed in theatres and music venues since she was 17 (Teatro Argentino, Teatro San Martin de Buenos Aires, Estadio Luna Park, etc), she has recorded songs for commercials, TV, radio programs, musical theatre, and movies. (Axe, Reina 2001 ,Riverito, Garcia Ferrer movies, etc...) She worked as sessionist and recorded for many important argentinian and american artists (Mercedes Sosa, Marcela Morelo, Zakiya Hooker, etc.) Known as the lead singer of her own band “Anika”, she played her own songs and recorded two albums (Anika and Fuego) for BMG.
