About Bartosz...

Born in Poland, Bartosz Barasinski began piano lessons at the age of 6, and very early in his career distinguished himself as a musician of rare talent. He graduated both from the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw and the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied with Sulamita Aronovsky.

Bartosz Barasinski has performed with great success in his native Poland and most countries in Europe both as soloist and chamber musician. He was first prizewinner in several competitions in Poland and has made numerous television appearances and radio broadcasts as well as a CD recording in Germany.

His performances at St. Martin-in-the Fields (both alone and with the London Soloists Chamber Orchestra) and for several music societies in the UK have been enthusiastically received. In 2009, he performed Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 in London with the Helios Chamber Orchestra and recently gave an outstanding performance of the same work at the South Bank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall during Nigel Kennedy's Polish Weekend Festival.

Recently Bartosz Barasinski toured Norway and Spain, and future plans include performances in the UK, Japan, the USA, Russia and Poland.
