Colin Bryant and the Hot Rhythm Orchestra are recognised as one of the finest international Dixieland Bands playing on the music scene today. The band specialises in Jazz and Dance music of the roaring 20's, 30's and 40's and can provide general dance music for every taste with the exception of Pop and chart music.

The six top class instrumentalists are led by virtuoso Clarinetist Colin Bryant who doubles on saxophone and compères the band's musical programme. The HRO line-up also includes Trumpet/Vocals, string Bass doubling Sousaphone, Banjo/Guitar/Vocals and Drummer/Percussionist. Keyboard is added on certain engagements.

Colin and the band are equally at home playing for dancing, presenting a concert programme or providing incidental music during Dinner (at sensible volume). The repertoire of the band includes tunes and compositions made famous by such greats as Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton, The Original Dixie Land Jazz Band, Glenn Miller and many more. A special feature of the band is a swing set from the Glenn Miller era.

The Hot Rhythm Orchestra are well known for their immaculate stage dress and presentation. Uniforms can be worn to suit the different requirements of the engagement. The band is completely self-contained with regard to transport and P.A. system. Smaller combinations can be provided to suit your party.
