Adam Green

Introduction:

Adam was always fascinated by music. Growing up in South Devon he has always been active and seems to have no limits to his industrious energy, turning his hands to kayaking, climbing, caving and most recently martial arts. He began his classical training at age 7 on guitar. This by no means ruined the appetite for popular and rock music which was already being cultivated by Adam's family.

About Adam...

At fourteen he was discovered by Fraser Scales, also a guitarist at that time. After hearing him for only a few minutes Fraser decided to form a band around Adam. Fraser changed to bass and a band room was set up in an unused office above a metal forge. In this first band Adam played heavy metal. For the next few years, while located in Devon Adam was involved in many projects, ranging from a scholarship in a classical choir to a global music vocal group from a Motorhead cover's band to Swing bands a blues rock band and acoustic duos.

Adam continued to play in rock bands until he moved to Guildford to study music in 2005. Unfortunately as Adam was getting established as a working and performing musician the guitar was taken away from him by Tendonitis. This was shortly after doing session work in London for Nike and an Italian productions company. Although being a proficient musician able to complete the course at the Academy of Contemporary Music while hardly touching the guitar, frustration and depression set in. This was a hard time, but allowed Adam time to contemplate his direction in life and music. He spent this time singing and recording with the college gospel choir (album out March) and writing new material.

Since getting back to playing Adam has been involved in many projects ranging from instrumental duos, backing jazz vocalists, and session work with up and coming artist 'Paul Humphries'.
